「We had an incredible time at Monte da Vilharinha. Driving into the property is like something out of a movie. The rural landscape boasts quintessential while buildings, herds of cows with bells, fields of flowers and streams. When we arrived we were greeted by Jafer and the property dog cookie. Jafer was the most incredible host guiding us around the property, letting us know where to take the (free) bikes and available to answer any questions via WhatsApp at any time. 「Although well located, our unit needed a fair amount of TLC. in particular, the sofas were very dirty. As for the beds, the mattress needed a full replacement. I had to sleep on the couch in order not to feel pain from my back. As for the service, we had a good experience with the restaurant personnel as well as the purser. But the reception employee provided a sub par service. A final word, this resort has not the structure for individuals having a mobility impairment. 」

「The property is well designed and comfortable. The pool was lovely but the weather made it impossible to enjoy. The road to the hotel is very bumpy and there were some minor snafus which the management was quick to try and fix although apparently the outdoor lights down the stairs to the rooms has a short and only worked half the time. In the rain in the dark it was quite dangerous so I am sure they will try to get a permanent solution. The breakfast is excellent. Definitely among the...

「The place was beautiful and the owners were beyond accommodating. We had so much fun relaxing at the pool and going to the beach in the morning. It’s a little outside of Lagos but definitely worth the stay」

「Room clean just very outdated, was given 4 keys to unlock doors, one for front entrance door, if arriving back to hotel and nobody's there, an old style skeleton key for room door, another key for patiodoor, and a key for safe, was interesting to say the least. Staff are very friendly speak English and make you feel welcomed, also will give you help on where to go and how to get there. Area a little far from anything within a normal walking distance. Having a vehicle is definitely recommended...

「This was my second stay, returning after three years and my stay was even better than the first. The staff were superb. There was a weather incident upcoming during my stay and they were very knowledgeable. Also it was just nice to talk about living there rather than the usual hostel talk. The beds were good and comfortable. Having a curtain really shuts you away and gives a good sleep. So very happy for that. Always loved the breakfast spread.
