"This property is absolutely amazing! The owner, David, was there the entire time to help with anything we needed! Karen, the tour guide helped us with a golf cart rental and a mainland tour, Mayan Ruins and Cave tubing.
We had the overwater bungalow which had the back porch for morning serenity coffee, the private pool, and the glass bottom in the kitchen and room! This island is a great little gem that has not become as commercialized as other tourist areas! Definitely a must see! We will be back! "
"We had an excellent stay. The facility was beautiful and the staff was very attentive. There is a type of sea weed that is creating a terrible smell on the coast, and that is definitely present, but it isn’t something that the facility itself has any control over. But just so visitors are aware there is a definite smell all over the island. But the Grand Caribe resort itself was beautiful and the facilities were very clean and comfortable. It was a girls trip with 3 of us and we each had our own suite with a bathroom which was amazing. Highly recommend. Safe and lots of security, not that I ever felt like we needed it, really. Great options for excursions through the concierge as well. "
