Such a beautiful home, amazing location! My daughter was just sad that the egg chair swings are no longer there and the bedding in one of the guest rooms was really not fitting for the rest of the decor (both very minor).

Outstanding Home

Spent 7 nights with 6 adults and an infant. The house met all of our needs - 3 bedrooms, 3.5 beds, rollout bed, fold out couch, plenty of seating, wonderful kitchen, outdoor grill, outdoor seating up and downstairs, TVs in every room and outside, perfect pool that was in the shade late in the afternoon. Quick 5-minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to Pine Street, quite neighborhoods - perfect location. If you are researching for places to stay with same number of people, this is a no-brainer. Highly recommend to anyone.

Family beach trip

We stayed in this property for 3 nights on a family beach trip with our 3.5 year old. The house is in a great location, easy walking to the beach and main street, and in a quiet part of the island. We loved the location and the outdoor area. The inside provided everything we needed, including soaps, shampoos, conditioners, beach towels, beach toys, trash bags, etc. It was the perfect location for us for this trip.

Great location for a relaxing stay

We enjoyed our week on AMI. The location of the house is ideal for beach access -- gulf and bay -- and easy walk/bike ride to Pine Ave shops, restaurants, etc. Closest beach access is a bit tricky to find - specific directions at the house would be helpful. Pool was a welcome break from the beach/the heat and the corner location of the home is lovely. House was a little worn (stained cushions inside and out, dingy bathroom accessories, dirty coffee pot) and could use a boost to kitchen utensils (we knew to bring all the food basics). I think it's the difference of staying in a property that is used by the owner vs one that is purely for rentals. But the management company was great to work with - called about a few items and they were on it. Friendly and responsive. Overall, really good stay. Plenty of space for our group and a terrific location on the island.

Absolutely Fabulous

Beautiful home with elegant decor and easy access to stunning beach (and sunsets!) on the gulf. The house is as pictured, although there are several different pictures of one of the bedrooms - it's really 3 bedrooms with a pull out in the entryway downstairs. The pool was absolutely warm enough to swim in and the soaking tub in the primary bathroom was fantastic. The door alarms take about a day to get used to and then are fine, don't let this be a deterrent to enjoy this lovely property! Just a few minutes walk to the beach and absolutely walkable to main shopping on Pine Ave and both piers. The only drawback is that there are really no extras as you may have had in previous VRBO properties. This means a minimal kitchen (no salt/pepper, coffee filters, laundry supplies) and the tiniest hand soaps in each bathroom. Bring all of this with you and you'll be prepared for a wonderful stay!

Just 3 houses away from beach access

Great property in a great location with low traffic. Comfy beds and nice decor. Having to disable door alarms every time you wanted to go in and out was inconvenient but would be good for safety of small children. Heated pool was nice as well as corn hole game and the provided beach chairs and umbrella. Staff answered phone call immediately, after hours, to give info on door alarms. Thermostat could have a better schedule programmed. Would stay again if cost stays reasonable. Recommended!

Great location. Loved the outside area as well. Would recommend that several small additions would make a big difference to renters ~ leave an extra trash bag, have enough dishwashing detergent for the week, have travel size shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, etc. We typically have those items in other places we have rented and were surprised that this house did not.

We loved staying here. Pool was excellent. The house would greatly benefit from plugs (electrical receptacles) inside on the ground level and in the outdoor space. My wife and I were working during the week - but these spaces were not practical for working due to the lack of power

Beautiful house. Awesome open kitchen foster great gatherings while meal prep and dining. Close walk to the beach. Great area around the pool. Pool and rooms are smaller than appear in pictures. Sleeper sofa is downstairs but would be better if placed upstairs. Overall, great house and would love to visit again.

Anna Maria Island Bean Point FUN!!

The first impression of the house as you walk in is wonderful. The decorating is unique and has that special touch. It felt clean and well maintained. We loved the location. Last year we stayed more South by Bradenton Beach which was nice but we love the quietness of the North side of the Island. We walked to Bean Point beach each morning. A walk to Pine Street for breakfast at Ginny and Janes. We ate at Waterfront which was always delicious. Locals told us to stay away from Sand Bar as it was over priced and the food was not the best. We had eaten there once last year and had an average experience. If you want to go for a drink and appetizer though, putting your feet in the sand while sitting on the beach is amazing. We went to Bridge Street (Packer Bar) a couple of times and ate at Bridge Tender which is pretty much bar food. The Blue Marlin was amazing for dinner on Bridge Street. Back to the house. It was beautiful and well maintained. If you like softer beds, this is the place for you. We think the pool heater did not work properly as the pool never got warm enough to swim in. We reported this to the property manager who said 83 degrees will not feel warm. However, we swam in heated pool at our next stay in Naples and the pool thermometer showed 85 and it felt warm. Overall we would stay on the North end again and stay at this property!! Great experience. Very quaint and old Florida feel on this Island.

Great area, nice house, features and details not like owner rentals

Stayed on AMI several times, highly recommend area & renting a house if possible. We've always used VRBO/Homeaway, this is the 1st renting from a property management company on AMI. Pros: North of Pine is sleepier & would recommend over closer to Holmes Beach, area is great. Lot is small (large for AMI), they have done an excellent job of growing plants to create privacy in pool area. Pool and outdoor seating are great! Decor in home is nice, not the largest we stayed in but met the purpose. Cons: The AC had an override governor so tmp stayed at 73 or above entire trip, although it could be set down to 72 it never stayed down. When paying this rate for a home you own should have the ability to use the thermostat, have never seen that and have stayed at larger homes that HVAC cost concerns. Made the trip uncomfortable. Check in process required you stop at office & was told I would need to "grab a key," said I've been several times & did I have to stop, told yes. Always have access codes, while office is on beautiful Pine Ave parking is a mess, had to leave the family in the car & walk, wait in line on a Saturday, only to find they gave me a key code. Very inconvenient & no benefit to the guest, they claimed people aren't familiar w/ AMI so they like to intro but been there before, nothing really to explain. Amenities are not like private VRBO rentals. While they met the bare minimum for the kitchen items as an example, dish ware was limited, cheap and gourmet cooking items not available. Made cooking throughout the week more challenging than usual, private VRBO homes have been heavily stocked when homes are this size in past. As noted in other reviews, furniture in rooms & general details were not above and beyond, minimalistic check the box. Overall great area, decent home, wonderful pool, unnecessary check in process, house could be better stocked, AC policy is uncomfortable, but the house is priced decently compared to others so perhaps you get what you pay for.

Spacious home with great outdoor area

We chose this home due to the location, great outdoor living area (with an awesome outdoor shower area after a day at the beach), a really nice pool, and the fact that it had 3 bedrooms with three full bathrooms for each bedroom. We’ve rented through VRBO numerous times but this was the first time we rented a rental property versus someone’s personal vacation home - it made a difference. There were no dressers in two of the three bedrooms so two couples had to live out of suitcases (other than closet space). There was absolutely no counter space in two of the bathrooms. The TV outside only worked half the time. The beach chairs were horrible and there were no bikes or beach umbrellas, and we had to rent a golf cart (which is super pricey). All of the above are typically at a families vacation home (at least in our past experience) but we didn’t factor that in. That said, the staff at Anna Maria, Accommodations were very professional and responsive. We tried grilling out our first night only to find the grill had no propane - I called them the next morning (the woman was super nice) and they sent a full tank within a few hours. So this review is not a reflection on them, we just a bit disappointed in some of the above mentioned areas.

Great house and location

House was very clean and large. Pool area was very nice and the water was warm. Only 2 blocks to the to the beach .Beds were great and the kitchen had everything you need. Only thing we would recommend would getting new beach chairs.
