“Hotel Maria Isabel in Ataco was such a cute, cozy family-owned stay. The hotel was small, peaceful, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room and bathroom were both very clean, which we really appreciated. There was no AC and unfortunately the fan in our room didn’t work, so we had to keep the windows open at night. “I loved this place. What a beautiful view watching the mountains and the lake. I stayed in lake view and I wished I would’ve stayed there longer than one night. The pool was relaxing and the restaurants were convenient all being in the surrounding area of the hotel. Definitely will come here again.”

“Beautiful boutique hotel. Cool theme, and great staff. Very yummy breakfast as well. However, the rooms are just not functional. There was nowhere to put your luggage. There was a huge awkward wood, wobbly bench in the Secilia room that was totally unusable and was taking up a lot of room. No hair dryers. There was nowhere to hang your towels and the showers sprayed every which way but on your head. The cleaning service did not refresh the towels that were left on the floor from us cleaning up……

“We stayed here after hiking the Santa Ana Volcano. We were able to use the thermal pools for our aching bodies and got a massage a the spa. The food was not great but the service was good. Crazy roads leading up to the hotel as well. Otherwise the staff was very accommodating and the pools were great.”
