Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha

"This was a 10-hour layover, so only a brief sample of what the Hyatt Regency has to offer, but I was very impressed from warm and welcoming front of house staff and breakfast bar staff who were courteous, confident, and approachable. The room was quite large, but very well maintained and excellent facilities. It feels a bit corporate, so if you're looking for something other than that, try elsewhere, but I can't recommend this hotel highly enough."

"This hotel was perfect destination to us first tiome travellers to Doha. It was for us a 13hr stopover and we wanted to make the most of it. We arrived after mioodnight, the check in clerk was super friendly and helpful, at that time of day and after much travel for us it was really appreciated. The room was great. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, didnt even know it was included. It was a nice buffet selection and the staff were super friendly and helpful. When we went out touring for the morning the morning clerk was equally friendly and helpful as the guy the night before. When we rushed back to check out for our flight the staff were again super friendly. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. I was super happy with the price of this hotel with what it provided. It was also for us, in a great location. Thank you."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waldorf Astoria Doha. I honestly could not believe how spacious the room was and how clean it was. From the moment we walked into the hotel, we were reminded about what makes a WA hotel so great. The hotel cleanliness was impeccable, the staff at reception, breakfast, the pool and room service were all amazing, could not do enough. We opted for the half board option which meant that our dinner was included. We tried both Muru and Yun, both of which were great and food was amazing in both. We also tried room service which was not included in our half board option unfortunately but the chips and the chocolate fudge cake were to die for!! In respect of the amenities, I went and looked at the gym (still counts!) and we visited the pool and spa a couple of times which were great for kids and adults alike. There were times when we felt like we did not need to leave the hotel as everything we could possibly need was already there! In respect of the location, there is a mall about 7 mins walk from the hotel entrance, we also visited the museum of illusions which was only a 5 mins walk taxi and we also visited a number of other areas within Doha which were located in close proximity. One thing we really liked about the hotel is that despite there being a very loud wedding one evening, we could not hear a squeak or sound of it from our hotel room which meant we and our kids were able to sleep peacefully. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! TY"

"We stayed here as part of a layover on our way back from the Maldives and it could not have been more perfect. We had notified the hotel staff that we were celebrating our anniversary and they had left us some treats in our room on arrival. We were travelling with our two young children and the staff were so accommodating of them. The hotel was nice and modern, offered easy access to most places in Doha, breakfast was great as were the breakfast staff. During our stay, I visited the gym which was spacious and offered plenty of options and we also visited the rooftop pool. We thought it would have been good for the smaller pool atleast to offer some respite from the sun during the day but we still managed fine, would have been easier with kids if it had. We also did not realise it was an additional charge for spa access. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating and will be returning in the future."
