「This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. 「It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. 」

「The house is beautifully situated with a fantastic view. The five of us spent a wonderful week here. For a walk with our dog we either took the very quiet street or the approximately 1.5-hour circular path through the forest above the house. Communication with the very friendly hosts, Paula and Rob, was also excellent. We would love to return.」
