“Book it! Loved the stay. Room was cozy and perfect for our needs. Ocean was a very short walk. So beautiful. Simon was fast and easy to reach through the app. And extremely friendly. Eat at the Golspie Inn. Delish! And so friendly there. Golspie golf was great!Side note, DO NOT use the local ATM for exchange rate. Fee was extremely high. Ripoff! Just use your credit card. Thank you Simon and Lyndsey.”

“The property was nice and clean. Parking was easy, right on the property. Located right on the beach and footpath, so the ocean view was nice. The owner supplied all of the usual conveniences in the kitchen and bath. I was concerned about the Alexa device that seemed to be always listening, so we unplugged it. The radiator beside the tele was emitting an electronic signal, but I could not find the actual source. We were unable to operate the heating, so it was a little chillier than we expected.……

“We had a great time at Sluice Keepers Cottage however the road can be noisy during the day but the cottage is blissfully quiet at night and that is the main thing. Lovely views over Loch Fleet with a great variety of birds to watch. The cottage is really well equipped and very comfortable. Lots of places to visit in the area and a great Sunday roast can be had at The Stags Head in Golspie with very friendly staff. The Milk and Honey cafe in Dornoch is another must for lovely food and great……

“They said the cooker was broken however we feel that they should have had someone to repair it asap. We understood there was no Tv or wifi but in this day and age anything is possible even if you have to raise the price. We were not told about electricity that it was a key meter it was only when an alarm was going off we traced it to electric box to find there was only 50p left on it we put key on and it added another £15 which went nowhere these are very expensive devices. “The host was welcoming and friendly that she led us to the chalet when we got lost. Everything was tidy and neat from bedrooms, the bathroom, the kitchen and the living room. The hob is easy to use and both the dishwasher and the washing machine were working well and clean. The heater and the boiler were functioning well which were important after experiencing bad weather outdoor. My family had a good time there, which was a good base to visit Scottish Highland and Isle of Skye.”
