“The RV stay would have been fine except for1. The stove and oven did not wor2. Some lights would not turn on3. The beds were messy and had covered plastic mattress pad4. There were not enough kitchen supplies if I could cook a meal5. The outdoor deck area was filthy6. We had to walk and park on rocks that are not appropriate for camping and were not safe, my car kept slipping.”

“This would be my last time to book with you”

“This was such a fun little retreat in the mountains. Our boys (age 6 and 3) loved staying in the tipi and exploring around our campsite. “Camp Pioneer was sold in 2020, but Pioneer Campground lives on. Formerly the staff area of Camp Pioneer, the campground is being thoughtfully developed while still preserving the quiet, rustic feel that makes the property special. The cabins are comfortable, the onsite bathrooms are clean, and the kitchen facilities have everything you might need for a simple and easy stay. The walking trail is well marked, and the creek is fantastic. It is a peaceful place to slow down, explore, and enjoy being……

“The owners are lovely people, and this spot is a slice of heaven. We were there for the Eclipse but anytime is a great place to stay at this locale. A very short drive to Hot Springs and close to grocery store. I hope to visit again in the future.”

“We only got to stay for 1 night but it was really fun experience. The hosts were super night during the whole process, and the property was really nice. It is absolutely safe during the rain as well. I grew up abt an hour away, so if you’re not from the area…there is a ton to do, especially for couples.”

“RV site was nice. Great access to Ouachita. Thank you!”

“It was a great stay and even took in a hike on the trail.”

“Thought we were renting an RV on site since it showed an RV and said it slept 8 with 1 bedroom. Actually, we were only renting the site.”

“The property is pure magic. A hidden gem. ”
