“We absolutely loved the view from the rooftop. The hotel is right across the street from the beach and walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel was so clean and the staff were friendly. We would love to stay at Orla again.”

“I booked a ocean view room but when I arrived the hotel staff provide me a handicap room on the third floor with no view to the ocean; I complained and the changed me to another room on the same floor with view to the bar and pool ... I had complained and finally got the room I paid for. Also, every single morning out of the 5 days the maintenance crew was banging and using electrical tools - I complained but no solution was offered. The area where they serve breakfast was under maintenance also……

“The Hotel is a trendy hotel and close to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The room is clean though the washroom is relatively small. The food at the restaurant was good and we tried 2 nights there. Breakfast was betting than I expected. The staff were very helpful. We left at 4:20am to there Airport and they had prepared the breakfast and coffee for us to take away. ”

“The Good: The rooftop pool is absolutely worth it — stunning views over Ipanema make it one of Rio’s best hotel experiences. The staff were also consistently friendly, attentive, and a genuine pleasure to deal with throughout the stay. The Not-So-Good: The rooms are quite small for the price — not what you’d expect from a luxury property. The breakfast buffet was also underwhelming, with a limited selection that doesn’t match the hotel’s reputation. Would I recommend it? Yes, with caveats. If……

“Had a great experience at hotel Vermont. Room was clean with nice amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great, surrounded by shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from the beach and 4 blocks from the lagoon. Definitely recommend and will stay here again next time I visit Rio.”

“Superb location just a block away from the fames Ipanema beach. Lots of eateries within a few blocks. Metro is right next door which makes getting to Centro real easy even in heavy traffic. Staff was super helpful and cheerful. The room size is what I expect in Ipanema. Wish the bathroom is bit bigger and they should add a hand shower. I missed that after coming back from beach.”

“My second time staying and I came back because of the excellent stay I had here last time. I was again very happy with the stay, the desk staff speak English and are extremely helpful. The breakfast is fantastic and you have a choice of sooo much. Great location near the beach and behind it is a drug store, supermarket and if inclined, a McDonalds. I’m back next week and I shall stay again. Great little hotel. 5 stars.”
