「First Patty at check in was beyond sweet and she was so welcoming. Really wonderful employee. There were small things that were lacking like no hand soap and the shower gel was almost empty so really no soap to speak of. Also they have this cute card talking about making yourself an afternoon cup of trees but no tea. And then we returned around 8:45 and ran out to go to our car to grab surfing and left our key in the room. I called the emergency number passed at reception since no one was left...

「First, if you want all the extra amenities and fancy décor that you get at some of those chain hotels, then this is not the place for you. But if you want a simple room that is clean and has everything you really need, at a good price, and is close to downtown Sylva, then this is a great place. It is an old roadside motel that is definitely basic in its design. But it was very clean and everything in the room worked. Which is better than I can say about the last VRBO I stayed at.
