「This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. 「Everything was perfect, from the friendly check in by Neil to our check out by a lovely lass whose name I have sadly forgotten The breakfast was superb. The room spacious and clean. We were in room 4 and the only downside, for me, having a sensitive sense of smell was being woken in the comfy bed by the strong smell of bleach, it was even worse in the breakfast area. It did not bother my husband at all. If I stayed again, I would ask for a room higher up, or further away from the bar area and...

「If you would like to experience living in a 400 year old cottage, with many original features, surrounded by so much beauty and peacefulness, then this is the place for you! I cannot recommend it enough. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by hens and cats. We were then shown to our ‘living area’, bathroom and upstairs - a double bed and bunk beds.
