“Excellent communications before we arrived. We were a family of 5, nice small touches; fresh fruit, milk, coffee etc. Rooms were clean, tidy and modern. Parking also a bonus. Really recommend.”

“This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a car park at the rear and 3 parking spots at the front. It is very secure with a personal PIN provided before book in for the doors. Very clean and smart. Big comfy bed in room 6 anyway. Nice little kitchenette. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine. Lovely shower. If I had to pick fault it would be the awful washing up liquid. It must be watered down, it does very little indeed! The flat is near to all restaurants and a Whetherspoons. Lots of coffee bars. The……

“Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.”

“The hotel should ensure housekeeping standards are improved. In particular the finer details, the room(s) were looking a little tired around the edges, in particular the bathroom. While there were some issues with housekeeping, what makes a good stay great is the way it is resolved and the attitude of the team that works front of house. In this case the hotel team member Edward was above and beyond, understanding and empathetic, not defensive and making every effort to ensure a good stay. He……

“This hotel is absolutely amazing, especially if you have kids. I stayed there around 15 years ago, before I had my own and thought it was awesome but having been back recently, it’s even better than I’d remembered. They seem to manage to keep the place looking pristine, despite all the kids who visit 😂. It’s modern, comfortable and very clean in all communal areas and the rooms are just as lovely. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed two nights……
