“Room was lovely, clean had everything we needed, the put up bed was so comfortable, breakfast had lots of choices.”

“This is a cute place to stay but a bit dated. It is dog friendly and it was lovely to see so many furry friends enjoying a trip! We stayed in a building round the back which had some quirky wallpaper but needed an upgrade. Interesting rules around breakfast which were explained in terrifying detail by staff who had been well briefed - "You have 30 minutes from when you enter until you must leave, and you can have one hot drink refill". That was a bit much, but we complied!”

“Check in was not the best. The MOS clearly didnt want to be there. Didnt tell us about the only lift. The room was as far away from the reception in a very much less than full hoyel. We were 'treated' to the noise of the by-pass all night. The hotel was in a poor state of repair, I pointed out torn carpet to a MOS who laughed and went into an office. The ceiling over the staircase had a large crack across it. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay with friendly staff and a good selection……

“Excellent hotel, excellent room, excellent staff. Couldn't have asked for more. Only (very minor) negative was no scrambled egg option on an otherwise top-notch breakfast, but that's just me. Would definitely stay again.”

“Food was great and bar was well kept. Bed was comfy so comfortable in fact I overslept! Such a good find, not overly pretentious just good quality, helpful staff and good food. Perfect for a business stop over. WiFi was also reliable.”

“Great stay at hotel as it a good base for sightseeing Harrogate and other places, short walk into Harrogate and buses run very frequently. Hotel windows could do with nets or blinds and the wind whistled all one night through the window vent. My mattress sagged a bit in the middle and had two lights not working on arrival. On the whole we were happy with our stay and would probably go back.”
