La Marée "A delightful house in an excellent location 🙂 excellent location and the house itself was excellent 🙁 unfortunately the keys were not in the safety box when we arrived at 4.00 on a Sunday afternoon. Nearly had to stay in a hotel but the owner turned up after some frantic phone calls."

La Marée "I have never complained and delayed this review awaiting comment to these points. Communication was poor we were delayed getting into the apartment as we had no communication from the owner. We tried to phone /text in English and French several times eventually the owner arrived. There was a smell in the property that smelled of smoke. The property was stunning with lovely fittings, however there was no wardrobe and we ended up putting clothes on the stairs and in kitchen cupboards. The bathroom shutter did not work so no natural light. The electric gates were not reliable sometimes only one gate opening. Our biggest complaint was the pool was not available. I have a pool at home which we use every day. When I removed the cover there was a lot of sand in the pool. I was concerned as to whether the pool had been treated. Tried to ring several times- no answer. I expected a refund of some description- no reply. Little info on the area. I have always given good reviews."

La Marée "Gezinsvakantie 🙂 Top vakantiehuis in Asnelles. Gelegen aan het strand met geweldig uitzicht. Ook de ideale ligging om uitstapjes te maken. Het verwarmde zwembad was super!! Goed onderhouden. Er is maar 1 slaapkamer, maar de slaapzetel was heel comfortabel. Was ook een matras beschikbaar om op de slaapzetel te leggen. Alles was gelijkvloers, privéparking achter automatische poort, omheinde tuin waar het zalig vertoeven is, rolluiken, ruime keuken, ruime badkamer, ruime bergplaats met wasmachine, droogkast en droogrek. Alles aanwezig! Wifi was ook in orde. We hebben de eigenaar maar kort gezien maar was een hele vriendelijke man. De communicatie gebeurde via Book&Pay. Dit verliep heel vlot. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en komen zeker nog eens terug. SUPER!!! 🙁 /"

La Marée "The place is an absolute gem, with a fantastic view over the beach, and a nice private pool. Very easy check-in, nice and clean apartment, and it had everything we needed. Our dog loved the fenced garden! :-) No doubt in my mind that this is a 5-star stay. I see that previous guests were not happy with their stay which seemed odd to us. We however had no issues during our stay, and I ultimately think the difference comes down to communication from the firm that is taking care of the bookings. When we had a question on checkout, they just gave us a phone number and an email address and we gave up right away… I’d find a different firm to manage my bookings, in which case I can say with confidence: The place is fantastic and has our highest recommendation"
