We were the only guests and thus had the whole house for ourselves. Amazing new outdoor Onsen and very spacious room with a wonderfull view. Very clean and good futon beds. Well equipped kitchen. We totally enjoyed our stay at Ikkyuan!

Well decorated, but the bathroom wasn’t clean, Onsen was burning hot, washing machine didn’t work, they have a book of rules, and I got locked out at 9:25PM. I rarely write bad reviews, but this place was not good.

15:00のチェックインで約束し、車を路駐して待っていたが、スタッフが15分も遅れて来た。路駐していた道路が狭く地元の車が迷惑そうにしていた。私の他にも駐車場案内待ちの方がいて、宿前道路は渋滞していた。スタッフは約束の5分前には到着していて欲しい。遅刻は問題外である。

口コミ見て心配でしたが、落ち着いて過ごすことが出来ました。田舎のおばあちゃんの家に行ったような感じです。露天風呂も予約制で貸切になるのでゆっくり入ることができました。壁の薄さは若干気になりますが、許容範囲以内です。

地獄から極楽の巻

最初は極寒の中、空調機が壊れてて帰ろうと思いましたがスタッフの方の対応が非常に良くて又、空調機の方も直してくれてとても良かったです^ - ^ 又、妻が臨月でしたが電気毛布など貸してくれたりとても神対応でした。赤ちゃんが寝返り出来るようになった時又、泊まりに行きます‼️ 有難うございました‼️

まず、場所が分かりづらく駐車場が1台分しかなくほとんどの方は300メートル離れてる2000円もする駐車場に止めさせられる。管理人がいない為他の客と揉め事になる。（なった）部屋にゴキブリがいて不潔すぎる。

宿は古いですが落ち着いていて私は好きですが、好き嫌いがはっきりする宿だと思います。ここは宿の管理者が常駐していないので、今回は夜中の１時から３時くらいまでバカ騒ぎをしていたグループがいて眠れませんでした。この点が改善されれば常宿にしたいです。

坂道がキツいけど、その後の露天風呂は最高

とても親切に利用方法などを説明していただけました。館内も清潔に保たれていたのですが、カビ臭が気になりました。露天風呂は最高に気持ち良かったです。

熱海の花火も楽しめ、大正浪漫な雰囲気のある建物で文豪気分を味わえます。貸切ヒノキ風呂も広くて大満足です。周りの音など気にならない方にはとてもおすすめです。

感想

角部屋だったので朝の景色はよかったですし、温泉も良かったです。ただ、電車で訪れた際のアクセスは少し悪いかもしれません。昔ながらの宿といった感じでしたので、雰囲気良く、くつろげましたが周りの部屋の声や音は聞こえました。

一人600円で温泉の貸切ができて最高でした。少し薄暗くて怖いところもあったのですが、都会の自分からしたら自然を感じれて最高でした！また頭に来る予定がありましたらまた泊まりたいです。

Love the house style, but beds are horrible

The house, the open-air bath, and the staff are all amazing. The house is clean and renewed well, not showing its age at all. Kitchen is clean, bathroom is modern. Location is a 5m hilly walk away from nearest train station, not a problem for me. The single, biggest issue is that the "beds" in the house are thin pads on top of hardwood frames - absolutely zero comfort. It's worse than a traditional futon on tatami. Might be tolerable for people who sleep on your back, but otherwise, if you want a good night's rest: avoid.

Good for broke students, not much else

I can see it being a good place for large friend groups. That's pretty much where the positives end. It's a share house style place, entry door is open 24/7 so anyone can come and go. The house is old, smells, noisy (neighbors and wind). They basically took a traditional house, threw in a bunch of random crap and call it a guest house. Pick somewhere else unless you have absolutely no choice.
