Maxim Hotel Auckland
Friendly and helpful staff. Free upgrade to a room with washing machine and dryer even though I didn’t use it. Very clean and quiet. Great bathroom and comfortable bed.

The Spencer Hotel by Castle
Pool was under refurbishment a would have been good if we were made aware of this prior our stay where we figured it out ourselves.

Poenamo Hotel
No major issues with the room, but the description said kitchenette but that was definitely not the case. There was only a small fridge/freezer, which affected my plans to prepare food.

Takapuna Motor Lodge
Lot’s of steps (14) even more steps into the shower it was not up to the standards we were expecting (run down) my wife only got up one step But it was Full all units,We left didn’t stay there was a disappointing result also Staff really didn’t seem to care about the place
