「Overall the stay was good! Unfortunately, the pool was not open, pool operating times are not posted on their website. We brought bathing suits and were disappointed to learn it was unavailable. There weren't enough towels, we had to keep asking for more towels, housekeeping cleans every other day. The building is old and could use decor updates. 「I could not have asked for a better place to stay on my travels through and around New Bern. I parked my car and never needed it again until the day I left. Everything was walking distance. I loved Linda’s breakfasts but also her attention to the little extras, including cookies, beverages, etc. It’s a beautiful spot and a great place to stay in New Bern. 」

「This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here...
