We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fitzhugh Lodge! The cabin truly felt like a resort-style getaway while still having that cozy Hill Country charm.Everything about the property was thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable. You can tell the host put a lot of care into anticipating guests’ needs—everything we could possibly need was already there. The space was clean, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.One thing we especially appreciated was how pet-friendly the property was. Even our two fur babies were taken care of, which made the trip even more enjoyable for our whole family.Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, a family trip, or just some time to unplug and enjoy the Texas Hill Country, this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Dripping Springs area!

Hosts were great! Grandkids loved it! We were attending a wedding at Addison Grove Venue, we were 9 minutes from the venue. Super cute place. My highest recommendation!

Awesome owner and house (lodge)!

From start to finish, the owner and team, were very informative, quick to respond to all questions (including pictures), and had a high level of care for their guests. In the rare times that something (small things) was not working or broken, they were fast to respond and replace/fix the problem. We had a small family reunion there with adults and kids. The lodge met all of our needs and we neve had a dull moment. The lodge is spacious, including large bedrooms, a big kitchen, a huge projection screen TV and large dinner table that fits a lot of people. The amenities were great and had something for everyone, including a new hot tub. We stayed for a week, but could have stayed longer. The lodge is in a great location, off the beaten path, so you feel like you are in the countryside. However, it is very near a small city, that has all you need, including restaurants and large grocery stores. We would definitely stay there again.

2025 Family vacay

We loved the pool, hot tub, & pickleball court! Spent most of our time in these areas. But, the game room was nice as well, just extremely hot when we first got there (June 27th) Couple of things I would want in a VRBO, would be a crockpot. If you’re like our family, wanting to spend most of your time playing, visiting & not cooking… a crockpot allows you to put something on early & leave it for a few hours. Also, we went to town to buy foil & left 2 boxes there for the next family. Not deal breakers, just would’ve been helpful. Overall, great experience & we would definitely go back! Amy was so prompt with answers to any questions we had!!
