“Room looks great the bathroom area is a wow factor, amenities left are brilliant the fruit and milk, orange juice is all fabulous.location is great at the top of the high street , inside the building very smart and welcoming. However the building outside looks run down and grubby Parking is definitely an issue however we found a carpark and left car all over the weekend and just made sure we used the app to pay in the morning.Room does obviously have damp issue as we where in the basement ,no……

“Blood stained on the bed sheets! When I requested to change the bed sheets, the staff told me that its their policy to change every 3 days!!”

“This is a hidden gem. It's a charming old manor house with very comfortable rooms and lovely food. The staff can't do enough for you and are extremely helpful. It's set in its own grounds, completely hidden from the road with no noise apart from birdsong and the whispering of the trees.”

“Room was good, bed comfy, shower worked well. It’s in the middle of town so there is some noise, especially on a Saturday night, but to be expected. Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else. Parking can be a problem but usually can park in town square (which you need to pay for, either in cash/card or by downloading the local app). Place fairly clean, tables for breakfast……

“Parking was only ok because we arrived late in the day on a Saturday and were able to park on the street outside for free. Any other day and I think you’d have to pay to park on the high street. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Only stayed one night so no complaints. Pinos across the road was excellent for dinner. ”

“We stayed in the tower suite which was overall lovely room. For that price, I would appreciate if the amenities are a bit nicer. The quality of the shamoo/conditioner was not very good in my opinion. I found the pillows were useless, too airly and too soft, feels like no substance in them. My neck was in terrible pain when I woke up. The pool was nice but I think it would be good to have a booking system. At some point, too many people came and there were not enough room for everyone. “Convenient, near to the city centre and the bus terminal. Not good choice for family, especially about the bathroom setup. The shower is fixed on the wall, while the sink is too high for kid”

“Nice large recently refurbished room, comfortable bed and lovely soft pillows but the shower room was tiny and the sliding door on the bathroom was very noisy making any privacy in the middle of the night when going to the loo impossible but it was clean. Our only real complaint and it's a big one, was the noise from the pub bar immediately beneath our room. We appreciated that there would be some noise as we were staying in a pub, however there was a karaoke evening including a DJ on the Friday……
