“Very spacious kitchen and sitting room and having the extra outside table space was a bonus.The location was very quiet, and ideal for walks or just sitting looking at the view.The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had excellent showers with plenty of hot water.”

“It was very obvious from the start that the house was newly renovated. Almost everything still had the tags on it. Absolutely nothing was plugged in, turned on or tested before I got there. There were no amenities, such as soap, dish cloths, cleaning supplies, trash bags, toilet brushes, or even bins in the bathrooms. “We came to Suffolk to do some family tree research and Orford was a great place to stay. Although there wasn't dedicated parking, there was always plenty of space in the market square. The village itself is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to walk and explore. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. ”

“Lovely spacious holiday cottage that really does have everything you need for a relaxing few days away. Pretty south facing garden to relax in, which is also fenced to keep in smaller dogs. We liked the fact the cottage is rural yet only a short drive into Diss town centre for local shops and food outlets. Great communication from host. ”

There is a long breakfast table, which easily accommodated 5 adults and 3 children and close by a tv, games & books for entertainment. “Wonderful barn in a beautiful location. Just what we needed to celebrate my wife’s 49th Birthday! Spacious lounge and lovely bedrooms. Surrounding grounds are lovely and would recommend a walk at the local nature reserve. Would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway. ”

“Some issues with this property, disherwash door & shower door broken, was resolved the same day. Inside windows are very dirty. Rest of house clean. It has 2 bathrooms one upstairs and one down stairs with a bath under the stairs. Doesn’t say it’s downstairs we assumed both were upstairs. Wi-Fi virtually non existent signal on and off during the day NO signal in the evening. Was reported but nothing was done about it, needs a provider with a good signal. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped.
