"There was some miscommunication and checkin / entry to the condo was not smooth. Once VRBO was able to get hold of the owners, it was smooth after that. Just that 1st hour was filled with anxiety and stress. Condo was very clean and had good amenities. We went in summer, although Winter would be a great experience as there is easy access to slopes."

"Wonderful home. But we chose not to use the downstairs game room which was a shame. We could not eat or drink downstairs so didn’t feel free to use it. Otherwise everything was fine. Spacious, well appointed furnishings and art work We especially liked he deck with the artful globe firepit"

"Well, this is our fourth consecutive year coming here during the warm season, and we usually stay 3-4 weeks each time. So I hope that says how much we like it. Top floor gives a great view. The unit is immaculate, and communication with the owner is always prompt, clear, and pleasant. This is an ideal location, halfway between Truckee and the lake. There are plenty of hiking trails on the property, and it’s easy to get to anywhere in the area. Before we came here the first time, we noticed that almost all the reviews were excellent, and after seeing it ourselves we knew why!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! If you’re looking to ski at Northstar and want the convenience of being right in the village, this is it. It’s truly ski-in/ski-out, which made everything so easy.We stayed as a family of four, and our two kids had great sleeping accommodations in the living room. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills condo that has everything you need, this place absolutely does the trick. We’ll be back! "

"Contact with the owner was quick and easy. The room looked clean, but as it turned out, the floor had never been washed for over price cleaning fee charged, as evidenced by the hairpin was found on the floor from the previous tenants. The place itself is very convenient, but parking is only available for hours when you check in and out, unlike a regular hotel: if you check in at 3:00 PM, you can park your car at 10:00 AM, and this very important detail isn't mentioned anywhere. The same goes for the pool; it was mentioned in the description, but to find it, you had to go to a separate website for an additional fee, and so on. The description also didn't indicate it was a condo, and the photo wasn't of the room being rented"
