Country Relaxation and Fun

This is a very remote property, but it was comfortable and a fun place to relax after visiting distilleries. If you're looking to be away from everything, this is the place for you.

Great spot.....very clean

Everything was great. The place was very clean. Fair amount of room for me, my wife and 2 dogs. Good location for hitting the bourbon trail.

Kentucky derby girls weekend

Iris was such a lovely and thoughtful host! The house had everything you could want and was the CLEANEST property I’ve ever stayed in. The property was private and quiet with an amazing deck and hot tub!!! Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Perfect Get Away Spot close enough to get delivery

Came home to Kentucky for a short visit with friends after I took a job in Pennsylvania last year. The property was clean, beautiful, peaceful, and felt more like home than any other vacation rental I’ve used in the past. I was even surprised that I could get Walmart delivered and door dash. I will be staying again on future visits - and will bring my toddler and husband next stay.

House and amenities were top notch. Very beautiful home and was as described plus more. Couple little hitches(nothing that would stop us from going back) with our stay, but communication with host was excellent. One of the best homes we have stayed in.

Home in the woods

We had a great time in this comfortable home! It had everything we needed plus more. The deck on the back was awesome to view the surrounding woods during the day & the stars at night! Highly recommend it!

Home away from home!

Beautiful place with all the amenities of home… quiet location off the beaten path, but close enough to all of our bourbon trail stops! Stayed four nights but wish it was longer. Iris was very responsive to any/all of our needs!!! Would definitely recommend to all.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay. Property was easily accessible. All amenities listed were present on property. Beds were extremely comfortable. Dogs barking at the neighbors in the middle of the night was a little annoying but expected from listing. Only thing missing was shower gel in guest bathroom but we weren’t concerned.

The Perfect Getaway

We recently stayed at this lovely property, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a beautifully maintained home that exceeded our expectations.The location is fantastic, situated near much of the bourbon trail, making it easy to explore the area. The property is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation.The amenities provided were top-notch. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living spaces were comfortable and inviting. We especially loved the hot tub, shuffle and dart board and video games, which added so much to our stay.Communication with the hosts was seamless. They were quick to respond to any questions and offered great local recommendations. Overall, this property is a gem! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay. Would certainly stay here again.

Great getaway for family

Nice house with cool hangout in basement and a hot tub. Awesome shower in master bedroom, beds were comfortable, and everything ready for the stay. Owner communicated great. Local mom&pop store/ restaurant was very friendly with good burgers. Really enjoyed our stay, thanks Iris

Great stay!

My family had a wonderful stay. Everything was as promised and the house was so cozy and inviting. The beds and linens were very comfy. We loved listening to the frogs and hearing the rooster down the road! Would 100% stay again!
