「The cabin was incredibly cute, clean, and well equipped. The snacks and T-shirts made arrival extra welcoming! The property was so much fun to relax on! We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the covered front porch every day. Our dogs enjoyed walking the grounds and hanging out with us in and around the cabin. Check in and check out were seamless and communication with the hosts was quick and easy. We thought we would go into Lexington or Louisville during this stay, but there were plenty of...

「We loved staying at Bourbon Barrel Cottages! It was a lovely getaway for us and our dog (yes, pet friendly!). Close to many distilleries but tucked away and peaceful. We enjoyed the hottub and fire pit each night and walking our dog every day. Looking forward to our next stay!」

「Definitely a good place to wind down. Woke up on the second morning to several cows and a few calf’s at the fence. I was so excited, but know to respect their space. It woke up early every morning just to see if they were there. Sat on the porch every evening and enjoyed the sounds of farm life in the distance. Thank You!」

「The house was clean and nice as described. The owner forgot to change the code to the door for us to enter. When we called he fixed the issue.The water in the pool was ‘green’ the hot tub was fine. We found it odd that we were asked to wash and put away all the dishes. We felt leaving them washing in the dishwasher was best for us to be out by the appointed time. We would stay there again.」

「The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house.」
