The Cumberland, London
10/10 Excellent
"The Cumberland is a very large hotel. Rooms are nice, good bed and nice shower which is the main thing. the exec rooms nice access to a nice separate check in and lounge which is very nice. Only issue was the shower leaks into the bathroom and Ive had this before here so use the floor mat to block the water. "
"Staff was very attentive and accommodating. The hotel was experiencing a leaking roof that was coming through to the lobby but the situation was being handled with little disruption to the guest "
"The whole process was smooth from checking in till checking out. Rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. Easy walking distance for most places. Couldn’t fault the place for the 2 nights we were there."
"Great location - five minute walk from Paddington train and underground station. Close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Full breakfast at hotel and lots of food options within minutes."
"I had an incredible time and will return again for sure. Excellent location and very clean. I don't eat breakfast so didn't need the extra breakfast option... but there are also a million places in the area to go. It's now my favorite place in London!!"
"Service was top shelf in all areas. Rooms are small but well designed. Location is excellent--close to shopping, dining, and multiple transportation options. "
"Staff were absolutely lovely. We arrived very early and they went out of their way to get us into an available room so we could shower and freshen up after the flight from Australia. Doorman, porters, reception and concierge were all incredible.
Room was beautiful and quiet, even being next to the elevator. Small gifts left by housekeeping were so sweet as well.
Location is perfect - two blocks from Oxford Circus station, local area very walkable.
We had the best time; sad to have left!"
"The location on the edge of Marylebone and a few blocks from Selfridges was excellent. We really enjoyed this hotel. It felt like a sanctuary. The room was peaceful, spotless and designed beautifully. We generally ate breakfast at the delightful Daisy Green down the road. I would definitely stay at Prince Akatoki again. "
