“We booked both the rooms so it felt a bit like our own unit to ourselves. The instructions for our arrival were clear, and it was easy to park outside. The rooms are lovely and the bathroom is really well appointed, but we would have liked some hooks to hang the towels and/or any wet clothes, or instructions for the heated towel rail - yes, it rains in Derbyshire! “Was such a joy to stay here. Conveniently located for the Peak District, Hawthorn Farm is a charming place. Our room felt so homely, the hosts Paul and Sarah were lovely and breakfast excellent. The oatcakes are a must try! We had such a better quality, personal experience here at Hawthorn Farm compared to the impersonal chain corporate hotels we’ve stayed at. Would definitely come back next time we visit the area.”
