“I have stayed before. Tracey and Emyr are wonderful hosts. They remembered that my mum was is hospital and asked how she was. They got my room ready so I could come here straightaway because I was going to the hospital. I highly recommend. Bridleways is a gem so peaceful, quiet and just perfect. I love staying here and will come again ”

“Room was nice and clean (except for some high altitude spider webs 😝). Only criticisms were the pump / boiler / macerator / mechanical device that was ‘kicking in’ each hour or so for a couple of minutes (felt like we were on top of it) and Biffa collecting the glass recycling at 05:30 on a Bank Holiday Monday morning…😣”

“Thos wasn't my first time at The Olive Tree. Rebecca & David are always very pleasant. The house is always clean. It's comfortable and cosy. I really enjoy staying there and it is close to my contracted office”

“Overall our two nights were good room and property were very clean and there's a kitchen for food. A couple of points would be to have a blind on the bathroom door window mainly because the morning light comes in and wound add more privacy. Also we found the mattresses uncomfortable and springy so didn't get a great sleep but its a lovely property and would stay again if beds were comfier ”

“Peaceful location. From the moment we arrived the hostess, Jo, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good facilities and refreshments. The property is conveniently located for visiting Alton Towers (less than a 10min drive). Would strongly recommend a stay at The Beehive Guest House if visiting the area.”

“The property was very clean. Price was in low range for the area. However, it said it sleeps 6. This can only be true if you are comfortable sharing an essentially twin bed on a sofa bed with someone. There is one very small bed that fits two adults tightly (pushed against wall so one has to climb over the sleeping partner to get out) and two very small sofa beds. Sofa beds did not have sheets though two pillows and duvet was provided. No heat in bathroom and heat was not on when we arrived. It……

“We only stayed one night but we found it very good value for money, staff were welcoming and hotel was ckean and tidy.”

“The property is very nice with laundry and games room available. When I arrived the room was clean, but there were no equipment to keep it clean during my week long stay. Kitchen has only utensils, no plates or pans. It does have oven, stove, microwave and kettle. Staff were friendly but my check in experience was horrible. First it was moved later on the day, then I ended up waiting over an hour after the new time outside the building in the cold and dark as the instructions were to wait……

“We stayed 1 night in the lovely room for 3 persons. We felt very welcome and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Very good service and you can really feel how they make an extra effort to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and so well made with a something for every taste. Definitely a place we will remember and come back to.”

“A definite get away from the world escape, with Peak District walking to Robins Hood stride straight from the front door. Loads of breakfast food choices laid out and a very spacious property to chill in. ”

“It is situated in a quiet area and only a few minutes' walk from the centre, so it was ideal for us. It is a very clean house with everything we needed. As others have said, you need to take the owner's advice about how to park, but I got a Nissan Juke in and out of the parking space. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly when we had a query. We would definitely go back again.”

“Fantastic location in a clean cosy cottage with lovely interiors. Only the steps were challenging for my husband who has difficulty walking. The quiet location added to the allure of the countryside. Just lovely.”
