"The listing photos were somewhat misleading. The property is located directly next to a major highway, which we were not expecting. We believed we had booked a secluded, peaceful location, but the highway noise was clearly audible inside the house and made it difficult to sleep in the morning.It was also apparent that the home is pet-friendly, as there was dog hair on the couch upon arrival. Additionally, the cleaning fee felt excessive given that we left the property in the same condition we found it, especially with a departure checklist of tasks that guests were expected to complete.The hot was nice but then again all you could hear was vehicles driving by."

"This has become a family favorite spot. The location to trails, food, Fox Powersports, is just about perfect. The lake really adds to the comfort and relaxation. The house size is perfect for multiple family gatherings. Definitely our favorite destination! Will be back in May!"

"The place is perfect weekend spot for fishermen. The owner went way out of his way to assist us when a huge windstorm knocked out power for about 6 hours. Drive 90 minutes to set up a generator that powered the whole house. Plus, he offered to ship a charger that inadvertently got left behind. Beautiful spot right on the river that is open during Michigan’s trout season. Planning a return trip next year!"
