“My wife and i just celebrated another anniversary in Carova Beach at this beautiful home. The home is in immaculate condition and has all the necessities for a great holiday. The beach is also clean and is perfect for sunning, walking, sandcastles, fishing. You absolutely need 4x4 to get there and that is another experience you will remember. “We loved our week at Ocean Crest. The house was beautifully appointed with a more than well stocked kitchen, lovely linens and decor. So many houses feel like they are furnished with spare furniture and linens. This was not the case here. It felt like the entire home was coordinated and intentionally designed to provide a premium experience. We appreciated the small touches that the hosts provided, like coffee / kcups, spices, ziplock bags, cotton balls, qtips, etc. The location was perfect and……

“We were a family group of 7. There was plenty of room for all of us to stretch out, relax, sit, sleep, and eat. The house was well appointment, fully stocked kitchen, clean linens, plenty of towels, plus extras like trash bags, paper towels, coffee filters, soaps and such. The owner was quick to respond to questions and communicative. The hot tub was clean and hot. From the pictures it appears that the neighboring house has windows that look out toward the hot tub, but those windows are false so……

“The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although……

“My friends and I stayed at the starfish retreat this past weekend. It was nice but we were not given any trash bags so we had to use food lion bags to throw our trash away. The hot tub was a bit dirty and we wish they had a few essential items that are normally needed when you stay at a beach house for a few days. The location was fine and close to the beach and the house was nicely decorated.”

“The house was amazing and very clean with everything that you may think you need, so if you forget something they most likely have it already there, ive never experienced anything like that. It appeared to be an older home that was upgraded. This was an awesome time away and convenient to the beach, although im used to a long ride for my work. If i had, to give any gripe, which i wouldnt, but if i had to.....maybe some outlets near the bed and perhaps a boxspring or an upgraded mattress......but……

“Everything about this vacation house felt like a treat. The quality of the furnishings and kitchen items were more like a goal at home instead of a rental property. There was enough room set aside for our stuff that we could move in and not have food items or bags cluttering up. Ryan was quick to answer questions, was accessible and considerate (we ended up arriving late at night and he turned on the lights for us so we had a welcoming house instead of darkness). “My family and I had a great time staying here. We have 4 kids under 6 and my in laws went with us. It was plenty of room for everyone and everything we needed. The pool was awesome. Also, the beach closet was well stocked when we were there. We probably didn’t need to bring anything for the pool or beach since everything you needed was in there. Will visit again ❤️”
