「Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast. The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay. Very disappointing experience overall.」

「Someone needs to learn how to make porridge if they are to have it on the menu. Apart from that it ticked our boxes.」

「I am a bit late in leaving this review as I don’t usually leave them but this B&B is amazing! Me and my partner stayed at the vine B&B in August for 1 night as we were at a wedding reception near by. From start to finish the experience was amazing」

「Love this place. Only negatives were no plug for the sink and no bed and pillow protectors on bed which are a must for me. 」

「I’ve stayed her over 4 years ago on a regularly. I’m glad to say the fantastic food and service hasn’t changed. Unfortunately there is no car park at rear of hotel now seating area. 」

「Disappointed that we had 2 rooms the same booked One was a lovely room with a large tv soft bed The other very hard bed & sparce Got moved to a family room like a dormitory Wifi didn't work at all Reception/restaurant bar was in another building so as Im disabled I had to drive too 」

「It served it's purpose as a cheap place to stay - smelt of damp, looking tired but nevertheless was clean. Fine for a one night stay, but wouldn't want to use this place as a holiday base」

「We had a fantastic stay here whilst attending a wedding nearby. The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area. The entire house was very well kept and we would highly recommend staying here - thank you!」

「Lovely warm welcome. Room warm and cosy (211) with a slightly challenging lock. Very tasty roast dinner and breakfast the next morning. The little town was quiet but lots of pubs and little shops, plus riverside walks too. Would recommend.」

「Different experience traveling from the US- shared bathroom, check-in at the bar in the adjacent restaurant, modestly lit path along the side of the building to the hallway door that led to the rooms.」

「The hotel was perfect for our stay. It was easy to access and peaceful in some lovely grounds. The room was clean and very comfortable. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant as we were attending a funeral in the area. The breakfast was lovely ; there was a great select of juices, cereal, fresh croissants and a nice selection on the menu for a cooked breakfast as well. Would recommend and use again .」
