“Had trouble with lock when leaving for dinner. No staff to help with anything. Long black hairs in shower.”

“Room was clean, parking was perfect. Air conditioning worked but made a weird noise. Staff was nice and welcoming but when we went to check out we rang the bell several time and no one came so we left the cards on counter and left.”

“Clean, quiet, affordable -- checked every box.”

It was thd best self-brewed room service coffee I have had anywhere! I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler, and I would definitely stay there again!”

“Clean room”

“It was very good for what we needed to attend a family funeral in Carthage, MO. Staff was great. Parking right in front of our door. Located near shopping for anything you might need. Good luck to the new management. We thank you helping us during a sad time. Travelers from Rhode Island.”

“Super clean place to stay the manager or owner Getta very friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend staying here.”

“The Guest House in Carthage is your basic 1960’s Motel that has been renovated with updated interiors and a good kiss of maintenance on the outside. Everything was clean. Nothing was particularly special, but it was what I needed near the end of a long motorcycle journey. The gentleman who checked me in was professional, kind, and polite, even lending me his carport to protect my bike from the elements and provide a modicum of security. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it……
