The place is awesome in the place of downtown of basalt. 20 miles from Aspen and almost 30 from Glenwood springs. The host is super and very welcoming. The property is clean and having enough place for parking, nice breakfast. I’ll recommend for people looking for budget hotel and wanted to explore Aspen and Glenwood spring

Chose to stay here as Aspen was too crowded and expensive. Very basic room, although advertised as having “air conditioning”, it was a window unit in the bedroom so it took a while for the room to cool down. Loved the park on the river. Enjoyed eating at the Tipsy Trout on the river for dinner.

This is an older property but it is well maintained for the most part. Essentials all good. Hot shower, clean, and friendly staff/owners. Wonderful location. Basic breakfast was ok but wasn't resupplied. Almost gone by 8.30 and no one working in area or office.
