“This was the first VRBO I've ever stayed in, usually opting for chain hotels because of the rewards. Whoever built this place did an amazing job with the lighting. Wes and Leslie were very helpful giving us suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The area is quaint but close enough to Hendersonville, Black Mountain and Brevard that one could easily make day trips to these small towns. “The property was very clean as advertised. It is located in a well kept neighborhood. As a woman traveling alone and very conscious of security, I was uncomfortable with the 4 young men outside the home directly behind the cottage. They did not say or do anything inappropriately, but the isolated area made me uncomfortable to come home after dark since I was traveling alone. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay.”

“We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time! The house is super cute and cozy. My son and husband went fishing at the pond, and we had fun feeding the sheep. Lots of land to go for walks and hiking (we brought our little dog too). There is an Amish store close to the house (walkable). Definitely check it out too. Delicious jams and sourdough bread!
