need improve the smoking environment - non smoking room have smoking smell. the hallways always have smoking smell. overall is very convenient. the super mat is just near by walking distance. parking is limited but can park at supermarket parking.

Clean room and good breakfast
Overall of the room was good.The room was equipped with hair dryer, ironing set, kettle, LCD TV, hanger, mineral water etc. I really satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. The buffet breakfast was good. Definitely will come back.

Hotel is very clean and all lights,TV, heater & air-con are in good working condition. Room is spacious. All staff (doorman, housekeeping, reception & restaurant) are friendly. The hotel restaurant is a gem. It offers a wide variety of food in generous portion. Definitely value for money for its quality and quantity given. Would consider it a 4 star hotel if toothbrush & toothpaste are provided. Good location. Cost only RM 4 or 5 (peak hours) to Batu Pahat mall or Aeon Big/Square One & Old Street. The Summit is just next to hotel.

I am not too sure why is there a no-smoking sign but the hotel prepared a rubbish bin with a ashtray? The rubbish bin is near to our room and we can smell the cigarrette smell from the room. When we passed by the ribbush bin we saw a lot of used cigarrettes in the ashtray. I thought people are not supposed to smoke in the building? Need to look into this. Overall, ok.

Overall room is quite clean, bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. However carpeting is a little old. Limited choices for the breakfast buffet, can be improved further.

Value-for-Money Option
We stayed in Crystal Inn many times over the years. Generally, this is a decent facility in a small town. Affordable, near Summit Shopping Mall and a huge supermarket, The Store. While it is not in top notch condition, it is value for money for the price point. We stayed in December 2019 and saw that the bathroom and lift were recently upgraded. Wifi is not very stable though.

Nice friendly hotel
I knew I would check-in late which is why I book a room without window. However, I was upgraded to a newly-renovated room with window; though I didnt ask for it. The breakfast was good enough for the price of the room I paid. There is a Chinese restaurant directly opposite the hotel and a supermarket/department store behind it. Bus station/taxi stand is less than 10 mins drive. Staff was attentive/helpful and polite. The only disadvantage is my room do not have an electric kettle, and the TV reception is not so good on many channels

Affordable
Minor paint job was on going at my floor, thus the after smell was pungent. Room decor was normal, looks like a 90's design, carpet was dirty and the AC was good but manual wings adjustment were needed. Plus points are it is cheap, located in town and next to a shopping mall.
