“I read previous reviews prior to booking as I was looking for a safe and clean space. This place did not disappoint. Basically brand new, very clean, and in a very safe area. Lots of parking! Even if you’re not technology savvy the contactless check-in was so easy!! They also respond back asap to text messages! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean and safe spot to stay while in Portland.”

“Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation……

“This studio felt more like a gorgeous suite to me: it is beautifully furnished and decorated. Every need is being anticipated and covered. Love the kitchen! I slept so very well it is peaceful. The neighborhood is so very beautiful and 5 minutes away from the water and great views of the Eastern End. Rudy, the host, responds quickly, finds immediate solutions, and he is very kind and compassionate. I have difficulties navigating the staircases due to my aching hips and knees, but Rudy went……

“This is a very good place for two couples or families with two pre teen children. It’s in a somewhat hilly, but walkable neighborhood with locally owned restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s a two mile walk or drive to the heart of the Old Port, and the locally renowned Becky’s Diner is about a half mile away. Please note that there’s one bathroom and it’s on the second floor, which requires climbing a flight of stairs. There’s on street parking, which we were lucky to find spaces nearby.”

“Property is beat up!!!! Entrance is dimmly lit and hasn't been painted in years. Stairs to the third floor apartment are VERY steep and make it difficult to get even a small suitcase up there safely. Balcony has a nice chairs, cute cushions and a view but is rickety and has a really rough surface. It's in serious need of sanding and painting. The second set of stairs off the deck are also VERY steep. Bathroom has a low slanted ceiling and no mirror over the sink. There's one behind you……

“Great property. Cute place. Note that there are very steep steps to get into the place, which is a conveyed attic.”

“Terrible area with no parking-no lights in entrance- not suitable for more than two bedrooms. Fold out couch setup no good. Stairs steep and dangerous”

“Great!!!”

“Fantastic little spot. Great location and easy to find parking even if not using what is reserve. Home had everything necessary for a stay. Hosts were prompt with communication.”

“Super cute apartment that was perfect for our stay in Portland. It was close to Old Port that had lots of cute shops and restaurants.”

“Cozy and comfortable.”

“We loved this place, the location, and the host!”
