“According to what I read, they were 11 miles away. It ended up being something like 28 miles away from the location that I was visiting. I found that the place was an older place and could have been cleaned up more. The rooms were not exactly clean. The sheets, the bad's the towels.All balls were well maintained and were comfortable.But I thought the place could use a clean job , especially at the sink in the shower”

“Dry clean and updated room. Nice breakfast with eggs and sausage rounds. Clean heated pool that is open till 11:00pm. Unfortunately they were out of cookies until their delivery arrived.”

“Typical Holiday Express. Room was good nothing special. Breakfast was good and included. Again nothing special but if you’ve stayed at an Express you know what to expect. It’s not a Bob Evan’s or Denny’s but a decent selection of food and beverages. We asked the cleaning staff to make up the room and left $20 on the bed for their tip. They did give us new towels and left the tip on the bed and didn’t make up the room. I guess you have to ask at the front desk for that service. Pool looked……

“Hotel room T.V. remote was difficult to operate to obtain free stations. Also, handicap room had no explanation on small platform found laying on floor of bathroom. Otherwise, room was very clean and spacious with no less than ten plus grab bars located in bathroom bathtub. Room window overlooked great lake view. Also, morning breakfast room was large and spacious.”

“Each time we choose to visit the lake and occasionally due to unpredictable circumstances; this hotel is the only option to stay ! It’s always clean , proximity to the beach area , stores and restaurants. The hotel staff is always accommodating. The location is our favorite , especially being close to the freeway, for any emergency exits .The staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean and the lake view is amazing! If you’re like us and like nice things , this location is the place to be .……

“While the room was clean, the ceiling had obvious water damage and it was hard to tell if it was new or old. The bathroom light was flickery and my kids called the toilet a demon toilet. Overall, decent place for a sleep and close to cedar point and other restaurants and attractions.”

“Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!”

“The staff was amazing, very informative, accomadating with my requests, answering questions. The floor& door by the bathroom was sticky. There should be instructions on using the A/C, it was either freezing or stuffy, too many selections to set the temperature, plus it was noisy sounded like it was ready to break down.There are no coffee makers in the room or in the lobby. Explanations were, free coffee was stopped after Covid. Guess they decided, why bring it back when they can make money,……

“Room was nice, the breakfast was good, and everyone was friendly. The pool was fun but wow there was so much chlorine just the air around it burned the eyes lol I do wish the little shop at the register had dish soap to wash out the kid’s bottles as I forgot to bring any. It was nice to have the washer and dryer as well. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again”

“We made a trip this way to visit Cedar Point. This was a very clean family friendly hotel. We stayed three nights with two adults and three kids (15,13,11). Kids enjoyed the breakfast and large spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable and it was a great experience overall. We are returning at the end of the month to visit Cedar Point again and currently finalizing the dates and thinking of booking this hotel again as we had a great stay !”

“I stayed at this Hotel due to the positive reviews. I was looking for clean, comfortable with modern appliances. I was in a suite and it was beyond expectations. I had 2 large screen TV perfectly mounted. One for the bedroom area, and another one in the couch area. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with selection and quality. The staff at the buffet were extremely nice, helpful, pleasant. When I checked in, it was neutral. Nothing good, nothing bad. Just a normal checkin. However, it was……
