“We stayed in the family room which was excellent. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice and high quality ingredients and products. And the afternoon scones and jam were delicious! Highly recommended and we’d definitely stay again.”

“Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked.”

“A perfect stay! Amazing comfy, cosy and massive bed which gave a perfect night sleep ahead of us climbing Scafell Pike which was really easy to get to. Super clean, loved the modern touches but also the traditional parts which remained from the barn. Breakfast was amazing and loved that it catered to vegetarian and non-dairy options without having to ask for this. We loved watching the alpacas from our bedroom. The freshly made cakes each day were such a treat and tasted beautiful. Only 10 mins……

The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.”
