“Staff were happy to deal with a couple of requests re changing the duvet and pillows to non feather/down filling and they had pre-installed a dog bed and bowl, which saved me another trip to the car thankfully. Comfortable, well equipped and dark bedroom. Very nice public areas and staff”

“Excellent breakfast, comfy bed and a room with a good temperature and impressive house keeping. I had stupidly left 2 spoons in my room that had been cleared away by housekeeping but they managed to locate them next day!! That’s going the extra mile. The garden wing building isn’t the prettiest but the rooms are refurbed and the grounds of the hotel are nice. Changing rooms are small but for the price it’s a great deal. ”

“What a lovely hotel! Really excellent customer service from all of the staff. I had requested a room with exposed timber beams, and on check in, the member of staff (sorry, I didn't catch your name) went out of his way to ensure that this was what we got. The room was lovely! Beautifully furnished with sumptuous fabrics, comfortable bed and sofa. There is plenty of parking which seemed very safe. The hotel is in the middle of the small village, so well located for exploring. Also easy to walk to……
