"Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon."

"Good location in a picturesque village only 10-15 mins walk to the beach and 2 mins walk to a great pub. Recommend bringing food for a few days as there are no shops close by. Parking for 1 car and a large, secure garden but no grass however plenty of seating areas. Cottage was well equipped but cleanliness could be improved as we found dirty cutlery, and some of the towels were stained. Overall a pretty cottage, with great welcome basket and dog friendly but needs a more thorough clean from time to time."
