Every year, hundreds of Great Egrets congregate in this large tree on the Bel Marin Keys public access trail. For weeks I was captured by the beauty of their flight and their incredible hunting techniques. I crouched on the rocks opposite this Great Egret for half an hour, trying to get this action shot. Well worth it if I do say so myself, I hope you all agree

"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. "Room was big and nicely redone. The bathroom sliding door did not close. The hotel was freshly redone also. Happy hour reception was nice. Food was not replenished enough for people coming in after 1st 1/2 hour. Would definitely come back. "
