“We thought the building had a quaint classic appeal. The location is excellent with good parking. Our room was really spacious with a large bathroom. Very clean. The hotel recommends the Gypsy tearoom for dinner. We tried it out and it was delicious. Try the lemon cheesecake for dessert! The staff at the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. ”

“This is the best of the best hotel! ”

“I had a grand 3 night stay at The Duckworth in July 2025. I was very grateful for the staff taking my luggage off my hands before I could check in and also texting me when my room was ready. As I was very much in need of a shower and rest that heads up was much appreciated. The location is fantastic - walkable easily to all parts of downtown with lots of restaurants, pubs and tourist attractions in East walking distance. “Check in 時員工告知泳池沒有開，可以幫我們取消，但我們已經去到了，便要求升級房間，職員很好讓我們升級了。房間其實很不錯，整潔的。每位員工也親切有禮。只是裝修比較舊式，床也睡得舒適，房間只有一個USB插頭充電。洗手間廁紙有待改善，是薄紙張不吸水的。吹風機上的膠已溶化，黏手的。健身房設施也不錯只是水機裏面沒有熱水，早晨款式不多，薯角不好吃，其他還可以。整體來說十分滿分有八分”
