“Unfortunately it was advertised as Magherafelt when it was in Bellaghy. It was also above a pub. We needed transport to and from Magherafelt but a taxi service was not available ”

“The Brown Trout Golf and Country Inn was perfect. Very friendly staff. Had two meals here. Had lovely food and plenty of it. The breakfasts were also good. Had English and then had a lighter breakfast the next day, yoghurt and fruit with toast to follow. The room was also lovely, our own little cottage style room. Plenty of space and comfortable and clean. The lounge area was cosy as well with a log fire. I could have stayed here a week.”

“Ideal hotel for visiting Antrim and surrounding areas. Free parking always a bonus. The hotel was quiet, very clean, beds comfortable, staff all helpful and polite. Our stay included breakfast which was self service with a good selection of food and the coffee from the machine was really good also. We didn't eat meals in the hotel as visiting friends in area but would definitely stay here again.”

“Definitely not the standard of the Galgorm. Evening menu for valentines weekend was poor and the atmosphere in the restaurant on 13th Feb left a lot to be desired as 2 guests where having an argument for everyone to hear. I would describe the Rabbit as the Galgorm's poor relative.”
