“This is the second time my family and I have stayed at this property. We absolutely love it and try to stay there whenever we take a trip to Bellaire. The house is very organized, very well stocked, and has so many fun things to do for the family. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.”

“We had a great time staying at the tree house. We have 7 kids. The room with the bunkbeds has an extra trundle bed, so 5 of them could fit comfortably in one room. We had all of our meals at the cabin. The kitchen is set up well for cooking. Everyone enjoyed the tv /game room with the pool table. Finally, thanks to our host Joe for going the extra mile to make sure we could swim at the Lakeview hotel. He was very responsive whenever I texted a question. One tip - bring extra towels to……

The house was clean and well decorated, beds were comfortable and the location was great for hiking and exploring the area. The doggie provisions, poop bags, a food bowl and a treat were a nice touch. Walking distance to Shorts too, a great bonus! Highly recommend this home and would stay here again!”

“The house is very nice in a lovely location on the grounds of Shanty Creek, and it was the right size for our family group. The kitchen was well-appointed and well laid out, which was great, since we cooked all of our meals. We needed a snow shovel, though, and there wasn't one there, nor was there any salt or sand to put on the walkway or steps leading into the house. We'd definitely consider renting this home again.”

“This home and the area are simply stated-perfect! Extremely clean, high quality construction and attention to every possible detail was made! From necessary daily supplies to baking/cooking essentials, even laundry essentials were available. High quality bed linens and towels-even beach towels were available. Kitchen drawers were perfectly stocked with clean and nice quality utensils. The laundry room even had the option for dryer wool balls, shout stain spray, to any type of accessory kitchen……

“I have a lot of really great things to say about this cabin. It is very quaint, the location is great, and the fact that we could have our dogs was AMAZING! Dan is a great host; super communicative and responsive. He is easy going, relaxed and eager to please. The cabin + bunk house is well equipped with everything you need to accommodate a group. It is very much a cabin though. Very rustic and very "lake life", which was I thought was a little different than what the pictures/price……

“The house was big and beautiful, enough seating in the living room and dining to seat 8 adults. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were great. Kitchen was well stocked and roomy. The view of Clam Lake was absolutely spectacular!”
