“Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and lovely to speak to throughout our short stay. The hotel is immaculately kept and tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities. Bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were supplied along with shaving and dental kits. Enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommned.”

“A lovely hotel and lovely staff. Great location. We are in the bar and food was excellent as well. There was a slight hiccup on our arrival due to a delayed ferry but the staff couldn't do enough for us after that. We will definitely return and recover.mend it to anyone”

“No breakfast included despite booking confirmation. Room ok but very much in need of repair. Bathroom provisions poor and needed to request additional ‘essentials’ having been left 1/4 a roll. ”

“Stayed a couple of nights for a cycling weekend, nice en suite room with tea and coffee, comfortable bed, good English breakfast. Excellent value for money. ”

“首先房間內沒有WiFi服務，現今社會，酒店沒可能沒有Wi-Fi服務，他的酒店只供應大堂，房內設施簡陋，沒有雪櫃也沒有保險箱，房間內亦沒有盒裝紙巾供客人使用，也沒有提供樽裝水給客人。 我也住過他鄰近酒店而且價錢比這更還低港幣$200一晚，但是他每天提供兩支樽裝水，第一天入到房內還有朱古力贈送，他們房間的Wi-Fi接收能力還比自己的上網卡更強，也有盒裝紙巾放在睡床旁邊！ 所以再對比一下，這間酒店的好處只是近碼頭！其他不值一提”

“Enjoyable two night stay at Esk Vale. Contacted Andy about possible earlier check in, which was no problem & much appreciated. Had a double room en suite with a comfortable bed. Breakast was excellent too, everything cooked to order. Would definitely stay again ”

“Nice warm welcome from the owners. Small room when we'd booked a big room Two singles pushed together and very poor nights sleep in poorly fitted bed owing to the fact its 2 singles pushed together No fridge in room no water in room no glasses in room to at least drink from the taps no waters or mini bar downstairs just a bottle of flat coke 0 and a blue buzzball good tv and decor .. tv has all online amenities big shower with slight poor controls .. standard at almost every hotel in……

“Breakfast was good and plentiful. The bed was lumpy and other guests were sometimes loud late at night when we were trying to sleep. We were thankful for onsite parking.”

“Great views from the bedroom towards the sea (apart from the infamous Shanklin lift shaft). Sun rise while lying in bed was fantastic to see. Staff were great and the food was good. Although some areas were a little worn and could do with a bit of TLC, it was very clean and tidy.”
