I can’t tell if I really love this place or not. There were a lot of issues that I can’t overlook, even though I had a really lovely time and I really enjoyed the games room.
They advertise that there was parking, but when I turned up, you have to pay £6 for a permit, which was cheeky. They also advertise two king beds but they were definitely double. It took me three attempts to figure out how to enter because there’s no reception and I just had to keep going to different locations ringing their ring doorbell. When someone did come out, it was a young girl wearing pyjamas, which was so unprofessional. It looked like I had to go into their personal house to check in, which made me feel uncomfortable and they had cats which I’m allergic to. So soon got a stuffy nose. you can hear everything in the room, there was black mould in the shower (the most dangerous kind of mould). There was no bin in the room so we just had to leave our rubbish on the side. It felt rude and untidy, but we didn’t have another choice. The light really easily slipped around the door frame and the electrics kept making a tapping sound, plus the fridge was noisy which kept waking me up throughout the night. Despite us having two radiators on full blast, we were cold. There was no shelf in the shower for you to hold your shower gel. And the electric hockey machine electrocuted me because the start button was broken so my finger actually went into the machine.
