「The Blue star House Hotel is on a 1way street, which is very quiet and peacefull. Very close to lots of restaurants and bistro bars. Close to a couple of shops, and very nice area on the edge of old southsea area.」

「The room was comfortable enough if somewhat dated and tired. The shower was a bath with a shower attachment. The towels were very old frayed, and clean but in poor condition.」

「close to seafront, last minute short family break. accomdation had everything required for a nights stay. just a little threadbear around the edge of carpet but otherwise fine 」

「Room was a little tired but overall okay. Minor issues like ripped wallpaper etc. My only issue was the fact the latch was slightly damaged on the inside so I had no way to properly lock the door. I had to put the chain on and shove a doorstop under the door, as a solo female traveller this made me a little uncomfortable. Walls are very thin so be aware if you’re a light sleeper. 「It was better than i thought it would be. The room was big clean and tidy. The hotel could do with better decor and tidying up」

「Gorgeous room and lovely decor overall although a few things were broken opun arrival e.g. One of the blinds pull strings was snapped and one of the plant pots was crackes. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would rate higher but the rooom did not come with any bath products or a hair dryer, and the tea and coffee was kept in the hallway between the rooms rather than having a selection in the room. Will definitely stay again if this is fixed. 」

「I have enjoyed my short stay at the property, newly refurbished, clean and a luxurious bathroom and lounge/dining area. Kettle would do better with a descaling though. Surrounding area very poor but overall safe.」
