Enjoy a memorable vacation at our home in South Haven, MI, only an hour and a half drive from Chicago. The house is a fully furnished, brand new, open concept home located one block away from the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan. The home has a total of 6 bedrooms (the 4 bedrooms on the common floor all have a smart TV), 5 full baths, an open concept common area for the living room, dining room, kitchen area, a large furnished horseshoe-shaped 2nd-floor loft overlooking the common area. The house sleeps a total of 16 people.

The house is fully furnished with a modern farmhouse decor throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker that uses ground coffee, utensils, etc., and has a solid wood dining table for 8, kitchen table that seats 6 and also a kitchen island that seats 4. There is a sofa, loveseat and a fireplace in the living room. There is big smart TV over the fireplace. The personal touches in decor along with the themed bedrooms give you the feeling of being in the comfort of your own home.

There are sliding patio doors in the kitchen leading out to a deck. There is a gas grill for your use along with patio furniture and newly added pergola with couches to lounge. In the backyard there is an inground pool (which is open May 25 through September 25), life sized chess set, fire pit, sand volleyball court, bocce ball court.

There is a large driveway leading to the house with room for parking that also has a new basketball rim.

No matter the season, there is always something to do.

THINGS TO DO---SUMMER: For your use, there is a folder filled with brochures of nearby places of interest and there are also local phone books with theatres, restaurants, and shopping. There are usually festivals and fairs happening in and around the area. In the Summer enjoy swimming and sunning on Lake Michigan, only a 5-minute walk on a private path to 1st Avenue beach. The public beach is a 5-minute car or bike ride away. Visit some nearby farmer's markets for the freshest fruits and vegetables, homemade jams, and fresh-baked pies and bread. Try the local wines at the nearby wineries in the area. New Buffalo Four Winds Casino & Resort nearby.

Winter offers the opportunity to go ice-fishing, ice-skating, and sledding on the lake and snowmobiling on the abundant trails in the area. There are nearby sledding hills and a ski resort 45 minutes away. There are many tree farms also to chop down your very own X-mas tree to take home. Come back and enjoy some hot chocolate by the fire with your family as you watch the snow falling.
