Safeway and many good restaurants in Alamo along with Starbucks, Peets, and a cool local coffee shop called Levers are all within easy walking distance. “My wife and I needed a place to stay for 5 nights as we drove in to town to help an elderly family member who is mobility impaired. We were concerned about the location at first as it was just off a street passing through the commercial part of town. As it turns out, street noise was not an issue at all. It is a little tight to get a larger vehicle in and out of the parking area, but it is manageable. All things considered, the property gave us a clean and quiet place to rest at the end of each……

“Overall, I had a nice stay here for 3 nights. It had all the basic essentials that I needed, except for the clothes dryer that was listed in the amenities, which I really could've used. I found it a little uncomforting that the 2nd bedroom was locked and inaccessible, I was unaware of that before booking. “Property is as listed”

“We left the second night of a 6 night booking. The host was definitely on site, and lives in the lower level unit. He met for access and questioned me for ten minutes. He asked questions about employment, vaccine status, and background information I am not comfortable sharing with a stranger. It took him 1/2 hour to finish the interview, and walk through the property before handing over the keys. This is not a 3 boardroom. This is a one bedroom with pull outs in the dining room, and living……

“Neighborhood didn't appear safe”

“The little amenities in the room were very nice. It received a lower rating for the following reasons. The shower did not work properly nor the fan in the bathroom. The fire alarm kept going off because of the steam from the bathroom. Our water was shut for three hours one day due to maintenance. This was not disclosed to us before our stay.”

“I stayed with my baby, husband and parents. It had everything we needed but unfortunately wasn’t baby friendly or clean. ALOT of personal items which I half expected from the bio but it was alitte overwhelming. I had to clean the apartment before I could feel comfortable letting my baby move around. “This property met our needs. We appreciated that we were allowed to bring our dog and everything we needed to do was conveniently located. It was a quick weekend so we didn’t have a lot of time to just hang out in the cottage. Our overall impression with it was kind of cute and funky, but could have been a little cleaner.”
