“The older guy that does breakfast or works at the desk is rude and has a nasty attitude. He told me that it is against the law to transfer me over to a room for a guest which was a friend of mine. That is not correct, I work at a hotel now. You are not allowed to give out room number information, tell anyone about a guests room number, let anyone in the room that’s not a registered guest in the room and if you mistakenly give out a guest room number while telling them about where their room is……

“The black gentleman that made those grits! If you know you know.. They were the best grits we’ve eaten. Everything was excellent! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else while in Duval!”

“I was appalled with the height of the shower head. I was in an accessible room for a walk in shower since I don't do well stepping over into and out of a tub. The shower fixture was placed where the ceiling and wall met (easily 6.5-7 ft high) which caused me to have to stand on my tip toes to reach the shower head to move it as it was shoved over toward the side of the shower wall (so water wouldn't splash out). If I had been in a wheelchair, I'd have not gotten to shower without getting……

“The hotel is under construction. The suite doors were not secure. Light from outside was visible around the entire door to the hallway and to the connecting room. The plastic around the door of the connecting room was visible and they started construction in the adjoining room at 7am.”

“Stay was great, I've stayed here multiple times and I would recommend this hotel for convenience to the highway, grocery store ( walmart, Aldi) and close to most places ”

“The front desk staff was amazing very friendly and helpful! House keeping came to do our room and they apparently don’t empty the garbages or anything tho so we cleaned our room our self and then they made the bed and gave us towels. The pool area was okay but most of the chairs on the pool deck were ripped and broken and the pool itself inside was pretty dirty. The hotel bar / restaurant didn’t have much , everything we tried to order they were out of so we got fries. Other than that it was……

“The room carpet had so many stains and they gave me the worst room. The entire hotel smells like rotting sewage. They dont maintain the property at all. The shower drain water would not go down and the floor tiles were slanted. Room smelled like cigarettes and so did the towels. Mold on the tiles of the bathroom... got a refund and got told to wait until 2 am to see if there would be a new room. No thanks, I went to the Marriot.”
