This is a very special place. It is a perfect place to set down your worries and rest. The food is amazing!!!!!! I highly recommend eating on site!!!! We stayed in the Mexican room in the mansion. It did not have amenities like refrigerator, coffee maker or microwave and there was a wedding on the property which was a little noisy. The bed left something to be desired but everything else was very good. Friends were staying in the river suites and they were very nice. More modern and updated. I would stay there next time.
