Excellent House

The house was perfect for our family. Spacious bedrooms and well-equipped house. Very spacious, clean and the accessibility to the lake was great. It was nice and quiet all day, every day. We enjoyed the back patio and took advantage of it every afternoon/evening. Easy access to surrounding towns.

Loved our stay!

We loved everything about this house! It was very clean and cute and the check in process was very easy. There is also a view of the lake and you can walk down to it (lots of stairs but it was fine for us). Highly recommend!

Serene retreat

We really enjoyed our time at this property! The grounds and views are amazing and the house is beautiful! The ability to get out on the lake with the canoe and kayaks was a huge plus, too. Thank you!

Beautiful stay on Long Lake!

We truly enjoyed our stay on Long Lake! This house is perfect for families and friends alike. The view of lake is lovely and we loved the big yard with lake access. There were several well setup bedrooms including a kids bunk room. We definitely hope to be back with a larger group!

Great House - Superb Stay

The Sandhill house is located beautifully with great views of the lake. Almost all rooms have great views. We enjoyed staying in the house for a weekend and the host is very responsive. Absolute 5 stars for communication with the host.

Great find

Perfect large, quiet house for our family of 11. Decor was impressive. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking in. Large backyard for yard games. We spent much time on the back porch with view of lake. Large dock with seating was used daily. Quiet lake made canoe and kayaks a pleasure to use. Many steps to dock but doable for all. Location was great-20 minutes to everything-the Dunes, hiking trails, Glen Arbor, beaches, Frankfort. Everyone loved the area and the house. Property manager very responsive.

Beautiful Home!

Perfect home for large family gathering. We needed a 4-5 bedroom home. This house is spacious, large open kitchen/living area. We were visiting between Christmas and New Years and view was beautiful. Would like to visit again in the summer. Views of lake and dunes from the house are beautiful.Look forward to visit again.

Sandhill House

We loved Sandhill House! A wonderful gathering place for my family vacation in an amazing well appointed house. The location was great -we did the dunes, Glen Arbor, Empire Bluffs hike and beach, Beulah/Frankfort bike trail not to mention lots of time kayaking and fishing on Long Lake. We really appreciated the bonfire area and Adirondack chairs for our evening gatherings too and early morning time. We cooked our own meals most nights. The kitchen was so well equipped, beginning with the coffee bar to dishes, pots and pans and outdoor grill area. Perfect and easy all around. Definitely a big, big plus! We can't sign off without complimenting the owners or decorator on the art work, bed linens, pillows etc. throughout the house. It was all tastefully and beautifully done. Thank you!

Great Property and quiet area! Pictures don't do the house justice!

We stayed here for our annual family/friends vacation. There was ample room for all of us and everyone got their own bed. The kitchen supplies was sufficient and the fridge space was great to store all our pre-made food for two large families. The only down fall was the incredibly steep climb on some pretty rickety stairs down to Long lake. We opted to not use the kayaks and canoes since we came back with a couple ticks from the short visit to the dock. One other negative was none of the windows had darkening shades. The light came in the rooms SUPER early so sleeping in wasn't much of an option. Overall, I'd absolutely stay here again and definitely would recommend the property to any one else I know traveling to the same area.
